An Invitation to Give

As the central educational venue for the School of Medicine , the Farrell Learning and Teaching Center will physically symbolize the School and define its entrance. This comfortable, dynamic gathering space will provide, for the first time, a hearth for students, faculty, and staff. With every detail designed to create the best possible environment for learning, the Farrell Learning and Teaching Center will enrich the educational experience for students and faculty alike and help to ensure our strong position and maintain our proud place of leadership among medical schools. Clearly, these are exciting times in medicine and science, and we embark on these challenging ventures with confidence. We hope that you will join us in support of this endeavor to build a new place of distinction at Washington University School of Medicine.

Larry J. Shapiro, MD, left, executive vice chancellor for medical affairs and dean of the School of Medicine, reviews plans for the new academic center with Betty and David C. Farrell.
